This module of the database contains quantitative indicators. All indicators are on demographic and economic phenomena in relation to migration from, to or in transit by the countries of the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean (SEM) and Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) (hereafter “the Region”). Data are aggregated at the national level. They are either collected in countries of the Region, or in the rest of the world on migrants originated from the Region.
The list below provides tables that are useful in understanding migration. This is an ideal list, obtainable only in a country where the information system would be both exhaustive and transparent.
