The second CARIM Meeting between Experts and Policymakers on “Highly-Skilled Migration into, through and from Southern and Eastern Mediterranean and Sub-Saharan Africa”, will be held on 27nd and 28th September 2010 in Beirut, Lebanon. This meeting is organised in partnership with the International Training Centre of the International Labour Office (ILO).
The meeting, dedicated to exchanging knowledge and experience between the Academia, Practitioners and Policymakers, will take place in Saint Joseph University in Beirut.
Around fifty experts and policymakers from the Eastern part of the CARIM Network (Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Sudan, and Syria) will participate in the meeting whose objective is to discuss the findings of the CARIM research on Highly-Skilled Migration and to obtain a constructive dialogue which would benefit all parties in their daily work.
